What Success Is...
Define SUCCESS...
It may be getting a promotion
Being able to travel more
Or finally getting fame…and fortune…
Then again, for some, fortune is enough….
Let’s admit, almost everyone
defines and acknowledges success to
the amount they have stashed away in the bank. With money you can buy anything
you want, go anywhere you want, and even be your own boss. Other than this you
can even help every person who comes to you for it and provide for your family’s
needs and wants…. When you’re able to do this you end up happy because you’re “successful”…
But what if no matter how much work you do—even with the six figure salary you
get each month—you still find yourself unsuccessful…
You find that the money you earn isn’t still enough for
your family
You don’t get to achieve what should have been a fast and
growing business.
And you’re completely stressed out…
So what’s wrong with this picture?
The BEST THINGS IN LIFE ARE FREE…
You’d be surprised by how this era’s best marketing
experts and richest men defined success and even formulated a way to attain it.
Come to think of it, all of us already have an idea of
what SUCCESS really is.
It is winning that basketball game you and your team
practiced hard for….
It is passing that licensure exam after burning the
midnight candle for months…
It is finally finishing that novel you’ve been planning
and writing for a year…
To sum all of these we can therefore say that success is finding fulfillment in what
you do best.

Pierce once said “Money is not the cause. It’s the effect…It’s your way of
thinking that causes all your good fortune in life….”
In other words:
If you want something you have to fill it with love and happiness…Being happy and appreciative of what you have inspires you to achieve a certain goal…You love it therefore working on it is enjoyable…When you enjoy doing it you are also motivated to learn more about it…Learning means growth…You gain the tools needed to further push you in making your dream a reality…When you’re successful you’re fulfilled not because you’re earning more moneyMoney is just a bonus….It is because at the end of the day you realized you’ve already made a difference….The best things in life are indeed free….

ReplyDeleteThank you too Maden! I do hope so too. Manny are still believing (although denying it) that a person needs to be rich in order to be happy. But that's simply being materialistic. Happiness is a choice -- it's a now or never thing.
